Family Ties
Our family has lived and worked for wine since 1815.
Our family has been involved in winemaking for over two centuries. We brothers, Peter and Fritz May, are the seventh generation to run the business.
Peter & Fritz May - The Brothers
Brothers Peter and Fritz now run the winery together. They make all important decisions in the vineyard and cellar in close consultation and complement each other ideally. This enables them to produce wines with character in an authentic and artisanal way.
Irm & Karl May - The heart of the winery
Irm and Karl can be found at the winery every day. When they are not delivering wine, Irm looks after the customers in the office and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Karl puts his heart and soul into packing the parcels and is always happy to help and advise with his many years of experience.
Jasmin - The all-rounder in the winery
Jasmin is always in the middle of things at the winery. Whether organizing events, providing support in the office or helping out in the cellar - Jasmin can be found everywhere and ensures that everything runs perfectly fine.
Anne - For special moments
Anne, Peter's wife, works as a teacher, but she also plays an important role at the winery. She is always present at events and ensures that couples who marry in our wedding room feel completely at ease and have an unforgettable experience on their special day.
Anja Keller - The heart of the office
Anja Keller has been the central figure in our office for more than 25 years. She is always a warm contact person for our customers and ensures that everything runs smoothly in the office. With her commitment, she holds the strings together for the winery.
Lukas Spruch – Our Vineyard Manager
Lukas Spruch is passionate about his work as a vineyard manager. He not only looks after the winegrowing work, but also our herd of sheep, which form an important part of our agricultural cycle.
Michael Reinfrank – The Cellar Master
Michael Reinfrank can usually be found in the cellar, where he takes care of the development of our wines with great passion. But he is also always present at events at the winery and ensures that everything flows perfectly.
Basti Walter - The lord of the tractors
Basti, our youngest employee, is a passionate tractor fan. He can usually be found on one of our tractors in the vineyards, where he carries out his work with dedication and enthusiasm.

The sheep
Our Ouessant sheep spend the winter on our Goldberg and help to keep the vegetation low. This saves us numerous tractor passes and allows us to benefit from natural maintenance of the land.
