Our sites

The geological diversity of our locations offers the right soil for every vine. They extend from Bechtheim via Westhofen to Osthofen.

Goldberg

We are proud of our Goldberg in Osthofen. The wines from the limestone site taste mineral and almost salty on the palate. They have a beautiful acid structure and a lot of storage potential.

Geyersberg location with location map

Geyersberg

Because the Geyersberg stretches south, its grapes are pampered with more sun. The wines develop a mild aroma with a spicy, mineral aftertaste. Our oldest Riesling vines are planted on limestone. Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon grow on calcareous, light loess soils that warm up quickly and produce complex red wines.

Morstein

In nearby Westhofen, the Morstein site enjoys a world-famous reputation. Our twelve-year-old Riesling vines grow on a light loess layer with limestone underneath. The vineyard was planted by our uncle with a selection massale from various German clones and Wachau genetics from the Jamek winery.

Due to the rather high location of our plots, we achieve maximum ripening delay and thus finely balanced aromas in the grapes and the wine.

Brunnenhäuschen location with location map

Brunnenhäuschen

In the outstanding Westhofen location “Brunnenhäuschen” we are currently planting a plot with a Riesling Selection Massale from the Mosel, which will probably start producing in 2025. The location shines with the great water supply of the vines in the lime-rich subsoil and complements our portfolio with an important “Grand Location”.

The geological diversity of our locations offers the right soil for every vine.
